Maple Peach Barbecue sauce is simple to make with ingredients already in your pantry. Packed with flavors of sweet with a kick of spice for the most delicious barbecue sauce recipe.
Did you know how easy it is to make your own homemade barbecue sauce? Grilling season is right around the corner and you’re going to want to try my Barbecue Sauce recipe on my Baby rack ribs!
If you’re familiar with water bath canning, you can certainly make a big batch and put up a few bottles of this sauce. We bottle it in barbecue sauce jars and stock our own pantry. A bottle of homemade barbecue sauce also makes a great gift. There’s really nothing better than something homemade with love! Feel free to use either fresh or frozen peaches. Most of the peaches dissolve while the sauce cooks and thickens. The smaller you cut the peaches, the more the fruit will dissolve.
Many times, I’ll purchase fruit or berries at the farmers market and process it immediately. Which means, placing berries in freezer, zip-style bags and laying them flat in our upright freezer. With something like peaches, I’ll peel and slice them, then place in freezer zip-style bags. Those also get laid flat in the freezer.
Be sure and try my Mixed Berry Jam and Raspberry Rhubarb Jam. This recipe uses pure maple syrup. Be sure and check out my post about Grades of Pure Maple Syrup and How Maple Syrup is made.

Yum, does this sound like a delicious bbq sauce. We are making wings this weekend – and will consider using this instead of plain bbq sauce!

The barbecue sauce sounds absolutely delicious! What meats do you think pair best with the sauce? For some reason I want to do some kebabs with the sauce – chunks of chicken, peach, onion and corn. Mmm…
Jessica Robinson says
Laurie,
I think this sauce would be perfect for kebobs with chicken, onion, corn, etc. You can also dilute the sauce with a balsamic dressing (half and half) and pour it over a grilled steak. That is amazing!

Hi Jessica , I have a question. Is the dry mustard like totally dry like powder or is it like pourable mustard .Because I’ve seen in the grocery store regular mustard that says on the label dry mustard thats why I was asking
Jessica Robinson says
Alison, thanks so much for stopping by! Okay, dry mustard or ground mustard is in the spice aisle. It’s mustard seeds ground. Regular mustard would be “prepared mustard” which has things like sugar, vinegar and spices in it. Hope that helps!
