Welcome to A Farmgirl’s Kitchen, where you’ll find farm-inspired recipes, step tutorials, behind the scenes on the farm, household tips, and meals your entire family will love.
A Farmgirl’s Kitchen started a few years back with a bunch of heirloom recipes from my parents farm. I was born and raised on a small farm in Connecticut where my family raised hogs, produced pure maple syrup, and grew much of our own food. I learned much of what I know in the commercial kitchen on our family’s farm, from my dad, mom, and grandmothers’. I am an All-American, home cook who creates wholesome meals, tasty baked treats, and preserves foods using easy to find ingredients. Meals are meant to be enjoyed with family and friends.
Two cookbooks later, and much recipe testing later, I’m still creating tasty recipes. All of my recipes are farm-inspired with a modern twist for the active family. Everything in moderation. Find more of my recipes in my two cookbooks: New England Farmgirl and A Farmgirl’s Table
