White sangria is the perfect mix of sweet, tangy and refreshing and made with just 6-ingredients in minutes! Orange and apple slices are submerged in white wine, brandy, triple sec and guava nectar and topped with lemon-lime soda for some fizz.
This white sangria recipe is super simple to make and perfect for summer picnics, pool parties and brunches.
This sangria recipe was featured in my first cookbook, New England Farmgirl. It’s been one of the most popular adult beverages. It makes about one pouring pitcher, but you can easily double or triple the recipe to serve more guests.
Love this pouring pitcher?! Order it here! I love serving strawberry lemonade, raspberry iced tea, and peach tea in it!
Why this recipe works
- Simple to make with easy to find ingredients.
- Makes a great adult summer drink.
- Adjust the sweetness as needed and add in your favorite fruit.
What you’ll need
- White Wine – Use a dry white wine you wouldn’t mind drinking on it’s own. We recommend chardonnay or sauvignon blanc.
- Triple Sec – Citrus flavored liqueur, choose whatever brand you prefer.
- Brandy – Choose whatever brand of brandy you prefer.
- Simple syrup – Granulated sugar has a hard time dissolving into a cold drink. Equal parts of sugar and water heated in a small saucepan just until the sugar is dissolved.
- Guava nectar – Use guava or mango nectar. Easily located in the International foods aisle near the authentic Mexican items.
- Apples & Oranges – Use as many or as little as you prefer. We love a mix of red and green apples and oranges sliced.
How to make White Sangria
Step 1: Add the bottle of white wine, guava nectar, brandy, triple sec, simple syrup to large pouring pitcher.
Step 2: Add ice cubes and stir to chill with a large spoon to combine.
Step 3: Add orange and apples slices.
Step 4: Top with ginger ale or lemon lime soda just prior to serving.
Step 5: Serve in glasses with a bit more ice and garnish with mint if desired.
Having guests or a backyard cookout? Make several batches of this sangria and put in a clear glass drink dispenser with plenty of ice cubes and slices of your favorite fruit. We love different colors of apples and oranges- but you could really use whatever fruit you love!
What is the best white wine for sangria?
Look for a dry white wine such as chardonnay or sauvignon blanc for this white sangria. No need for an expensive wine, choose something inexpensive since you’ll be adding other flavors to it.
White sangria is the perfect fruity, summer cocktail. A delicious combination of dry white wine, guava or mango nectar, apples and orange slices. It’s sweet, easy to make, and looks stunning in a pouring pitcher or drink dispenser.
This is my go-to white wine sangria recipe. And I’m betting your guests will be begging for the recipe!
A dry white wine such as chardonnay or sauvignon blanc is best for this white sangria. Make sure it’s something you wouldn’t mind drinking on it’s own.
Add some faux ice cubes and fill the bottom of your drink dispenser with them, just up to the nozzle. This will prevent any fruit pieces, etc. from clogging the nozzle and keep your drinks flowing nicely! Find them on Amazon.
